Summer Internship as Timber Measurer

If needed, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality leaders.

We are looking for 1-2 summer interns for our Mörrum office!

Job Description

You will work at Södra Cell Mörrum, which will also be the stationing location for the position during weeks 25-34. The working hours are currently shift work with a workload of 37 hours per week. Your tasks will consist of timber measurement and other related tasks at the measurement station such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measurement station and maintain ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work should be carried out according to our core values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

Who are you?

We see that you are a person who is meticulous, likes order and structure. You are service-oriented, both towards customers and colleagues, have a knack for collaboration, and are a good team player. You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and have a keen eye for improvement opportunities to enhance your daily work. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical tasks and digital systems and be able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A prerequisite for the position is that you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

Desirable/meritorious

Knowledge of forestry and experience in timber measurement are considered meritorious as well as being able to communicate in English, but this is not a requirement.
